Position Summary

The South East Neurosciences and Trauma Strategic Network is seeking a Spinal Surgery Clinical Lead to lead the newly established SE Spinal Surgery Operational Delivery Network (ODN).

The regional Spinal Surgery ODN is a new regional network bringing together 3 geographic networks into one. This regional clinical lead role is a pivotal role in this newly created regional ODN; leading this new network requires the post holder to facilitate cross Speciality, cross Trust and cross ICB collaboration within the field of Spinal Surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides professional and clinical leadership across the relevant Operational Delivery Network (ODN).
  • Working as part of a multi‑disciplinary leadership team; leading the strategic and operational development of a coherent and effective network.
  • Delivery of a programme of work that addresses national and local priorities.
  • Promotes and supports partnership working throughout the network, facilitating the resolution of differences, and tackling poor behaviour.

  • The successful candidate will be employed under the terms and conditions of service for Consultants (England) 2003.
  • Proposed interview date: 23rd December 2025.
