Assist patients, relatives, and colleagues by handling telephone and face-to-face inquiries professionally and sympathetically, tact may be necessary for sensitive situations.
Ensure all necessary medical records are obtained and prepared for clinics in a timely manner, maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
Manage patient transport bookings in line with NHS and Trust policies.
Provide accurate clinic information from the PAS system, including additional data and reports as needed for management and clinical staff.
Offer cross-cover within departments during planned or unplanned leave, including Ward 20, Theatres, Procedure Suite, and Dales Suite.
Manage workload independently, prioritizing tasks and referring complex issues to supervisors or managers.
Attend staff development reviews and mandatory training as directed by the Speciality Admin Manager.
Undertake additional duties as directed to support department functions.
This role requires a DBS check in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
