Role Description

As a successful Account Executive at STR reporting to a Regional Manager, your role will be to nurture and grow your existing client base and source new business in your designated region.

Responsibilities
  • Retain and grow revenues in your assigned territory by nurturing client relationships, identifying new stakeholders and interested parties to promote new opportunities for product sales.
  • Identify opportunities for further data and revenue growth through new client acquisition, expanding STR’s client base to interested parties such as owners and management companies, local associations and vendors.
  • Collaborate on market‑level initiatives for new product launches, operational transitions and other company‑wide initiatives such as data and debt collection.
  • Maintain Census and CRM to a high standard, tracking all field knowledge, sales activity and client engagement.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a sales Account Manager with a track record of both hunting and retaining business; you will have worked selling B2B and have experience navigating large, complex clients as well as smaller businesses. You will have a demonstrable track record of success.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous work experience within the hotel and travel industries and a knowledge of the hotel and travel sector ecosystem.
  • Ability to travel; a driver’s license ideally clean.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
