Reporting to the Head of People in the UK, you'll act as the key HR contact for senior leadership, managers, and employees within your dedicated client group. Understanding the business, its people challenges, and opportunities will be crucial to your success, enabling you to provide pragmatic solutions aligned with business goals.
You'll work closely with managers to anticipate operational needs and proactively develop solutions for various challenges. As an HR People Partner, your days will vary, supporting managers on ER issues, preparing reports for leadership meetings, and more.
Responsibilities
- Build strong professional relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and line managers, advising on resourcing, performance management, and change management.
- Influence and drive organizational change by developing strategies linking HR policies to business objectives.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on all aspects of people operations, including system support, performance management, and promotions.
- Monitor service quality and take corrective actions when needed.
- Lead business change initiatives such as TUPE, restructures, and redundancies.
- Support the development and implementation of people policies.
- Partner with the Recruitment Manager to develop recruitment strategies, ensuring alignment with diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
- Provide comprehensive advice on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and appeals, in line with legislation.
- Enhance performance management processes and promote employee engagement.
- Work on ad hoc projects and stay updated on legislative changes affecting policies and procedures.

- Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practices
- Ability to handle conflict and stressful discussions sensitively
- Coaching skills for senior leaders
- Interpersonal, diplomacy, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
- Professional integrity and confidence in handling diverse personalities
- CIPD qualification (preferred)
- Experience in a generalist HR role, understanding of matrixed environments beneficial
- Knowledge of DEI trends and talent planning experience
- Ability to interpret financial metrics and KPIs
