Job summary
A childcare services provider in Surrey, BC, is seeking a full-time child caregiver to perform light housekeeping and take care of children. Responsibilities include organizing activities, preparing meals, and ensuring a safe environment. Candidates must have a secondary school diploma and experience with children is considered an asset. This role requires work at the physical location only, offering 20.00 CAD hourly for 30 to 35 hours a week.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is an asset.
- First Aid Certificate required.
Responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Supervise and care for children.
- Tend to emotional well-being of children.
- Help children with homework.
