Overview

This is an opportunity for a Bank Housekeeper to join the team at Huntercombe Hall Nursing Home in Henley on Thames. The home is a 42-bed residential and nursing home that has received a ‘Good’ rating from the CQC and is highly rated by residents and their families. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control throughout the home, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for the residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and other facilities.
• Vacuum, dust, mop and perform general housekeeping tasks.
• Implement infection prevention control measures and maintain safe hygienic conditions.
• Cover annual leave and sickness on a flexible and reliable basis.

Person Specification – Essential Qualifications

• No specific qualifications are required for this role, but previous experience in a similar housekeeping or cleaning role would be an advantage.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and willingness to work as part of a team.
