As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and laundry standards in the home. Your focus will be on operating according to the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. You will need to have knowledge of health and safety, particularly moving and handling techniques, fire safety, and COSHH assessments, as well as experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting. The role also requires demonstrating compassion and commitment to delivering high‑quality housekeeping and laundry services to residents, and the ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
