- Lead procurement of goods and services to meet commercial and operational targets.
- Drive strategic sourcing activity and manage supplier relationships.
- Lead, coach, and mentor junior procurement team members.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, pricing structures, and rebate agreements.
- Work closely with Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, and other internal stakeholders.
- Support procurement activity across construction and retail fit‑out projects.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and pricing compliance.
- Develop procurement schedules using project specifications and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and health and safety requirements.
- Strong experience within a buying or procurement role.
- Excellent Excel skills and strong general IT competency.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to build long‑term supplier relationships.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- CIPS, CIOB, or RICS qualification (or working towards) desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Minimum GCSE‑level education.
- Salary between £38,000-£40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
