Independent Financial Adviser - Location of clients Kent/Maidstone

This is an opportunity to service and build upon an existing client portfolio on an employed or self-employed basis, delivering a consistent and outstanding client experience.

In this role, you will understand your clients' current and future financial goals and formulate easy-to-understand financial strategies, guiding your clients to financial independence.

This role offers home-based / remote working with access to office locations if preferred.

1. Developing an understanding of the AFH Financial Group’s strategy and core values, representing the AFH brand professionally and courteously.
2. Complying with AFH’s advice process, maintaining regulatory competence and KPI standards to ensure all activities meet business standards. Continually improving the quality of advice and client files.
3. Maintaining Fit and Proper, and TCF requirements according to AFH processes, and keeping personal CPD records up to date.
4. Meeting regulatory requirements, including disclosures, costs, and advised products.
5. Following the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long-term relationships and deliver excellent client outcomes.
6. Reviewing and responding to clients’ changing needs, keeping them and introducers informed about new financial products or legislative changes affecting their pensions, savings, investments, and financial plans.
7. Acquiring and developing new business from clients and professional introducers through personal planning, referrals, and lead generation programs.
8. Utilising marketing opportunities, including social media and networking, to develop new business.
9. Developing and maintaining good client and introducer relationships through meetings, seminars, and feedback.
10. Contacting clients to set up meetings, either in person, in clients' homes or businesses, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.

1. Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA approved equivalent) and maintaining CF30 status as per FCA regulations.
2. A client-centric approach, well-presented and articulate, with a dedication to doing right by clients.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, professionalism, and IT skills to adapt to virtual/digital communication.
4. Experience in networking, attracting new clients, and business development, including relationships with affinity groups, business owners, entrepreneurs, and clients across various sectors.
