Creating business and revenue models, generating growth, ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing their carbon footprint.

We are growing across all levels from Consultant to Managing Consultant, offering opportunities to make a real impact. In your role, you will deliver DevOps advisory that will enable the adoption, acceleration, and innovation for our clients.

In this role you will play a key role in:
  • DevOps Capabilities: Assess, define, and implement DevOps capabilities to deliver innovation, agility, cost benefits, and improved time to market.
  • Platform as a Product Mindset: Advocate for treating platforms as products, focusing on user‑centric design, clear documentation, and robust support models.
  • Product Lifecycle Ownership: Experience managing the end‑end lifecycle of a platform, from ideation and roadmap development through launch, iteration, and sunset, ensuring continuous improvement and value delivery.
  • Maximize Investments: Leverage and maximize clients' existing investments in ITSM tools and frameworks.
  • Roadmap Development: Develop roadmaps to improve DevOps maturity and unlock value through thought leadership in areas like Generative AI and Platform Product Management.
  • Collaborative Transformation: Work with all organizational levels to innovate, design, and implement modern technologies, processes, and operating models, delivering sustainable transformations.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration between product, engineering, security, and operations to deliver cohesive platform solutions.

  • Candidates with platform product management experience are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will bring a product mindset to platform engineering, with a focus on user‑centric design, lifecycle ownership, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key expectations from this role include:
  • As a Consultant: lead a stream of work and produce high quality deliverables, providing key input to shape the strategic direction and support the design of propositions.
  • As a Senior Consultant: design and lead projects / multiple streams taking ownership for elements of the proposition.
  • As a Managing Consultant: desire to contribute to the growth and success of a top‑tier consulting practice. Contribute to our market offers, knowledge and the overall strategic goals of the practice. In delivery and leadership, you'll be responsible for consulting sales in excess of £500,000 per annum.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
  • Business Development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal Contribution - Campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & Development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
Your Profile

You bring a strategic mindset to product‑centric delivery and have a combination of the following:

  • Lean process design and IT/business automation across product management, engineering, and operations.
  • Comfortable in client‑facing roles with consulting/coaching experience in agile delivery transformation.
  • Define OKRs/KPIs, set up processes to measure and improve speed, productivity, and quality, and implement product‑centric operating models.
  • Solid understanding of hybrid/multi‑cloud environments, DevOps, CI/CD, SRE, DevSecOps models, DevX, build and deployment pipelines, observability, and ITIL. Optional: Required certifications, licenses or languages.

What You'll Love About Working Here

You'll be part of a team where people can thrive professionally and personally. Here are just a few of the things our team values and enjoys:

  • Client engagements give you the opportunity to work with our leadership and experienced consulting management, where you can learn from them, challenge them and accelerate your hands‑on experience, delivery capability and industry insights.
  • You'll learn how we write compelling client propositions, structure and lead high‑profile transformation, and gain hands‑on exposure to leading technologies, often taking an idea from a concept to a vision, to strategy and then execution.
  • Our consultants are formally trained from industry experts on management consulting and client delivery.
  • We provide a host of opportunities for learning and certification through internal and partner‑led programmes from AWS, Google, ServiceNow and Microsoft.
  • Les Fontaines: Capgemini Invent has a unique training environment just outside of Paris, where we can immerse ourselves in thought‑leadership, share knowledge and build capabilities which will help us and our clients to succeed.
  • We hold monthly showcases of our digital transformation initiatives, sharing knowledge and showing off how the power of technology is impacting our clients.
  • There are many opportunities like monthly team drinks to connect face‑to‑face with the wider team over a few drinks in the city.
  • There are regular leadership connect sessions that will give you a different, more relaxed setting to meet up in the office to hear from the leadership, meet colleagues and discuss the trends and insights within the market. Team away days are always a chance to connect with the team, have fun and learn something new.
