You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, sensory and communication impairments.
Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

You will be working at a specialist care home with nursing in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Jubilee House is a registered care service which embraces and balances the management of risk with comfort, homeliness, dignity, respect and choice.
The mixed gender service is for people living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, sensory and communication impairments. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with complex needs and behaviours which may challenge services. The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team made up of registered manager, nurses and support workers.
The service is intended for those individuals who require a high level of support to live within a community setting and will continue to require this longer term. Service users may be referred who are transitioning from hospital or children’s services, or where their community placement is no longer able to meet their needs.
The service is only 4 miles from Barnsley town centre with direct bus access. Barnsley has good transport links across the region and is close to the M1.
