Senior HSE Leader – National, Multi-site Compliance
Job summary
A recruitment company is seeking a Senior Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead HSE standards across UK locations. This role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, shaping the HSE strategy at a Group-wide level, and managing a variety of responsibilities including risk assessment and training. The ideal candidate will hold NEBOSH and IOSH certifications and have significant experience in a senior HSE role. A driving license and national travel are required.

- Proven experience in a senior HSE role, ideally across multiple sites or business units.
- Confident communicator, able to engage at all levels including Board level.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures across all Group companies.
- Oversee all Health & Safety matters, ensuring policies are effectively communicated.
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits across multiple sites.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, working to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare management reports, KPIs, and safety performance statistics.
