An amazing career opportunity has arisen here in our thriving East Cowes facilities for a suitably qualified and experienced HSE professional to join the team in a Deputy Leadership position. They will be responsible for supporting the management and development of Health, Safety and Environment for the site by acting as a subject matter expert and, where and when required, deputising for the Site HSE Lead, with a view to potentially succeeding the current Site HSE Lead when they retire.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated team leadership capabilities, who is truly passionate and enthusiastic about HSE - dynamic, adaptable, and engaging, with the ability to work with various stakeholders including operatives, managers, union safety reps, engineers, support functions, external consultants, etc.

You will be working with a team of engaged and driven advisors, an environmental site lead, and our HSE apprentice, to utilise and develop subject matter expertise such as Lifting, risk assessment, COSHH, DSEAR, etc. to ensure the health and safety of over 1000 staff and environmental compliance across two sites. Cowes has a large variety of projects and customers, and we are working on exciting future projects and collaborations, so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved at key stages where you can work to get HSE integrated at an early stage to drive strong HSE performance.
