Job summary
A leading aerospace engineering firm in St Leonards is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop next-generation avionics systems. The role focuses on mechanical aspects, requiring significant experience in mechanical design, especially in avionics. Successful candidates will lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers. The position offers a salary between £45,600 and £57,000 with a flexible benefits package, including hybrid working setup to balance office and remote work.

- Significant experience in mechanical design, particularly in avionics systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Creo Parametric.
- Ability to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Creo Simulate.

- Analyse requirements, design, implement, and verify mechanical sub-assemblies and components.
