Bristol - South West and South Wales patch
Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience in commercial maintenance, seeking a hands‑on, field‑based role within a fast‑growing renewable energy company, offering progression to Senior Engineer, strong overtime potential to boost earnings, and a company van to support travel across sites?
This UK‑based renewable energy specialist provides nationwide operation, maintenance, and technical support for onshore wind turbines in the 200kW to 850kW range. Operating across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, the company delivers high‑quality O&M, performance optimisation, technical upgrades, and asset support to maximise turbine availability and long‑term value.
In this role you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on onshore wind turbines across a patch across South West England and South Wales. You will service, inspect and fault‑find mechanical systems, replace components, complete reports, and work safely at height while travelling regularly to remote locations. The role is Monday‑Friday, 8:30‑5, with significant overtime available.
This role would suit a mechanically biased engineer with experience in renewable energy or heavy plant maintenance who is looking for a varied, field‑based position within a growing wind energy business, looking to increase earnings through overtime.
