Job summary
A leading energy services company in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer. The role involves overseeing electrical systems design, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing engineering teams. Suitable candidates should have 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in Oil and Gas projects, with familiarity in relevant standards. This is a critical position that contributes to major energy project deliverables, ensuring quality and efficiency in operational processes.
Qualifications
- At least 12 years of experience with 6 years in Electrical Engineering for major Oil and Gas projects.
- PMC experience at a similar role is preferable.
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Control FEED / EPC electrical engineers in preparation of calculations, cable sizing, and switch gear.
- Provide comments on FEED / EPC deliverables and ensure implementation.
- Oversee the design of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Day to day control of FEED / EPC electrical engineers in preparation of calculations, cable sizing, loads, SLDs, switch gear and interfaces, power system automation etc.
- Provide timely comments on FEED / EPC deliverables and ensure their implementation.
- Oversee the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting systems.
- Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards and regulations
- Review and approve electrical load calculations and system analysis.
- Review and approve electrical engineering drawings and specifications.
- At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Electrical engineering for major Oil and Gas / Petrochemical projects.
- PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures / practices is beneficial.
- Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
- Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
