We are an established family bakery with a taste for quality, having created delicious products for over 75 years. Our organisation produces baked goods for retail and food service, specialising in cake and sweet pastry tart products. We supply all major UK retailers with ambient Free From ranges and a number of leading Coffee Shop Chains with ambient and frozen ranges.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes creativity, isn't afraid to get hands‑on, and wants to see their ideas turn into real products enjoyed by customers across the UK and worldwide. This role would suit someone seeking to start a career in food innovation / food production, a passionate chef looking for something with more sociable hours, or an individual that wants to turn their passion for home baking into a commercial career.

• Developing exciting new bakery concepts inspired by customer briefs, internal ideas and your own creative spark
• Making delicious kitchen samples and supporting recipe paperwork so ideas are ready to share with customers
• Exploring the marketplace with the team (yes, including taste safaris!) to spot trends and spark innovation
• Getting involved in feasibility reviews and early production trials to help bring your creations to life
• Finalising recipes, methods and quality standards once concepts are approved
• Sharing your foodie knowledge with the wider New Product Development (NPD) team and learning from experienced developers

• A genuine passion for food, flavour and baking, this is non‑negotiable
• Curiosity: you're always asking “what if…?”
• Creativity mixed with a methodical approach, you can dream big but also follow structured processes
• Knowledge of food and bakery trends
• Experience in a kitchen or production environment (essential)
• Computer literacy
• Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative mindset
• Eligibility to work in the UK (This role is not applicable for Skilled Worker VISA applications)
