Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintenance fitting. This full-time role involves proactive and reactive maintenance on production machinery in a fast-paced environment. A competitive salary and excellent benefits are available for the right candidate.

- With strong mechanical knowledge.
- Must have experience in all aspects of light-weight maintenance fitting and fault finding on production machinery.
- Experience in the food processing or medical manufacturing would be transferable.
- Printer, label application data/software knowledge would be beneficial.
- Must poses pneumatic knowledge, both its relationship with automation and its control.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.
- Confident with reactive and proactive maintenance tasks.
- Must be experienced to be able to work in a team, and able to show own/lead initiative.
Training will be given in all specific areas.
A flexible approach to work is essential for this role.
