Engineering Team Leader - FMCG (4-on 4-off)
Job summary
A leading FMCG manufacturer is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to oversee a small team of engineers, ensuring safe and efficient running of all production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG or automated distribution, with excellent leadership and technical skills. You will report to the Maintenance Manager, supporting a proactive maintenance culture and driving engineering standards. This role offers great opportunities for ongoing training and career progression.

- Experience in FMCG, food production, or automated distribution is essential.
- Proven supervisory or team-lead experience within an industrial environment.
- Strong technical fault-finding skills and a hands-on approach.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of site engineers.
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site.
- Ensure engineering tasks are carried out safely and effectively.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
- Report engineering performance and issues to the Maintenance Manager.
- Foster strong communication between production and engineering teams.
