Qualifications

West Bromwich | £53,500 | 4-on 4-off (2 Days / 2 Nights) | FMCG Manufacturing

A great opportunity to join a busy, well-invested Food Manufacturing site as they grow their engineering team. We're looking for an electrical-biased Maintenance Engineer to support high-speed production lines and keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing
  • Fault-finding and repairs across mixers, conveyors and packaging lines
  • Planned maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime
  • Electrical work on motors, sensors, inverters and PLC-controlled equipment
  • Supporting automation changes and small projects
  • Working safely and supporting continuous improvement on shift
What we're looking for
  • Time-served Maintenance Engineer from FMCG or manufacturing
  • Electrical bias with good mechanical ability
  • Able to read/modify PLC code (Mitsubishi ideally)
  • Calm, team-focused and confident with fast-moving equipment
