Job summary
A precision engineering company in Wakefield is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a permanent role. Responsibilities include assembling and installing special purpose machinery, working from engineering drawings while ensuring adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have an HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and experience in mechanical assembly. Competitive pay of £17.00 - £19.00 per hour is offered along with a bonus scheme and training opportunities.

- Support continuous improvement and process innovation
- HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in mechanical assembly, ideally with exposure to electrical/pneumatic systems
- Strong knowledge of machine safety and engineering drawings
- Good communication skills and confident in a client-facing role
- Willingness to travel when required
- £17.00 - £19.00 per hour (DOE)
