• Position: Senior Portfolio Accountant
• Location: Home Based with occasional London Office days
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

As a Senior Portfolio Accountant, you will:

• Have significant accounting experience with a recognized qualification (CIMA, ACCA, AAT) or equivalent experience
• Maintain accurate accounting records for designated portfolios, preferably within the property sector
• Manage and mentor staff, support senior management
• Have good knowledge of accounting systems (Propman software desirable) and advanced MS Excel skills
• Prepare year-end accounts, reallocate costs, and review variances
• Experience with audit processes and liaising with external auditors
• Prepare profit and loss statements, balance reports, and other reports for auditors
• Monitor cash flow and manage outstanding creditors
• Communicate effectively, interpret complex reports, and handle financial planning
• Manage surplus and deficit charges, service charge demands
• Possess strong property management knowledge, especially around service charges
• Have an analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Experience with statutory accounts filed at Companies House and Inland Revenue
