Corporate Tax Advisor (Part-Time)

VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a busy and highly successful boutique accountancy practice in Belfast, who are seeking to appoint a Corporate Tax Advisor on a part-time basis. This firm has developed an excellent reputation in the market, working with an impressive portfolio of corporate clients across diverse sectors.

This is a unique opportunity for a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CTA) with strong corporate tax experience who is seeking the flexibility of a reduced-hours position while still working on high-quality advisory projects. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and client-focused team, advising on a broad range of corporate tax matters including structuring, compliance oversight, transactions, and planning. With 15-20 hours per week, this role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys problem-solving and adding value to clients, without the demand of full-time hours.

• Provide high-level corporate tax advisory services to a varied client base.
• Review corporate tax computations and returns prepared by the wider team.
• Advise on restructurings, transactions, and tax planning opportunities.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships.
• Mentor and support junior staff where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with UK tax legislation and best practice standards.

• Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CTA essential).
• Demonstrable experience in corporate tax advisory gained within practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
• Commercially astute with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a portfolio within reduced hours.
