A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven Assistant Accountant to join a leading multinational company. Based in Stockport, the role follows a hybrid model (2 days office-based, 3 days WFH).

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations across four Irish entities
- Statutory accounting, P&L, and month-end closing
- Ensure SOX compliance and controls across EMEA
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations & quarterly reviews
- Audit assistance - preparing year-end closure & supporting external auditors
- Handle Transfer Pricing activities and statutory reporting
- Process journal entries for accruals, prepayments & general ledger accuracy
- Identify and drive process improvements
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with 3+ years in a multinational company
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX compliance
- Experience in Workday accounting system and advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication & stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
