Certain Advantage is hiring for a Surface Mount Machine Operator based in the Stevenage area.
This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.
We’re working with a world-class manufacturing business that operates in the defense sector.
This role is for a Surface Mount Machine Operator — someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
- Hand soldering circuit card assemblies to IPC 610 & 001 standards.
- Fine soldering under magnification.
- Surface mount and through-hole component assembly.
- Experience with surface mount technology.
- Soldering/CCA assembly skills.
- Dexterity for fine work.
- Hourly rate of £24.78 rising to £26.12 per hour.
