Job description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Surface Mount Machine Operator for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing machine manufacturing and self-certification tasks in accordance with product certification procedures, workmanship standards, budgets, and project timelines.

Role Details
  • Position: Surface Mount Machine Operator
  • Pay: £24.78 per hour via Umbrella
  • Contract: Monday - Friday, 37 hours/week, 12 months
  • Location: Stevenage
  • IR35 Status: Inside
  • Security Clearance: BPSS
Requirements
  • Hand soldering of Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 & 001 standards
  • Fine soldering under magnification
  • Assembly of surface mount and through-hole components
  • Perform detailed standard assembly/manufacturing activities following procedures, quality standards, safety, and timelines
  • Contribute to efficient workflow and information movement in manufacturing
  • Adhere to standards and behaviors
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • IPC 610 certification or training preferred
  • Operate equipment including DEK screen print machine, MyCronic pick and place, ERSA reflow oven, and Koh Young AOI
