Our client, a leading Asset Manager, is seeking a Senior Performance Business Analyst to join on a 6-12 month initial contract. The successful candidate will support performance and attribution projects across the front-to-back investment landscape, with a particular focus on data quality, analytics, and technical workflows

• Act as the lead Business Analyst on performance-related initiatives across portfolios and strategies.
• Gather and document business and functional requirements for performance and attribution reporting.
• Liaise closely with Performance, Investment, Risk, Data, and Technology teams to drive accurate, timely delivery of performance data.
• Conduct data analysis and validation to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of performance figures.
• Troubleshoot data and calculation issues across systems, particularly within Aladdin and Aladdin Accounting.
• Support the integration of performance data into reporting and dashboards used by internal stakeholders.
• Provide subject matter expertise on performance measurement methodologies (e.g., time-weighted, money-weighted, attribution).

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Asset Management, with strong focus on performance and attribution.
• Strong data skills – able to interrogate, manipulate, and validate data across complex systems.
• Experience with BlackRock Aladdin, particularly in relation to the Aladdin Accounting and Performance modules, is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of investment performance concepts and metrics.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Exposure to tools such as SQL, Power BI, or similar for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with regulatory and client reporting in relation to performance.
