The starting salary is competitive, with additional benefits including bonuses and a car allowance.
Shape Britain’s Energy Future with Sizewell C.
Location: London, Suffolk, Bristol
Contract Type: Permanent – Office‑based with hybrid flexibility (typically 2/3 days in office)
Working Pattern: Full time
Closing Date: Friday 9th January 2026
Sizewell C is the largest investment in home‑grown clean energy in decades. The project will deliver low‑carbon electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years, supporting Britain’s net‑zero ambitions. You’ll join a team of experienced leaders shaping strategy, mentoring staff and ensuring delivery aligns with project goals, contract requirements and nuclear safety standards.
As a Commercial Lead, you’ll take ownership of the most significant and complex commercial packages on the project, covering civil and nuclear construction works, major equipment and enabling contracts. You’ll lead procurement, negotiation and post‑award commercial management, working with suppliers, regulators, and Tier 1 contractors. Your leadership will shape strategy, mentor teams and embed collaboration across the supply chain.
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will ordinarily require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years. It is a requirement that those who join us have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship may be explored but local recruitment is a priority. By submitting an application you acknowledge that you have read the Sizewell C employee privacy policy and EDF’s policy, and that EDF will process and share your information on behalf of Sizewell C.
If you are excited about the opportunity to shape the future of Britain’s energy and have the skills and experience outlined above, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and be part of something extraordinary.
