Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a days shift position in Liverpool. The role involves conducting electrical fault finding and Planned Preventative Maintenance in a stable family-owned business. Competitive salary of £45,000 – £50,000 with excellent benefits including a pension and private medical care.

Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and electrical fault finding.
- Perform electrical maintenance on onsite Demag cranes.
- Be available for on-call duties and some overtime.
Skills
Maintenance Engineer – days shift – 8:00 to 16:00 Mon‑Friday no shift flexible days. 13% pension, 25 days holiday, profit bonus, private medical, flexible working hours.
Electrical biased Maintenance Engineer roles based in Liverpool, Merseyside, Runcorn, St Helens, Warrington region. Incredibly stable £70m turnover, 600+ headcount family owned business.
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and electrical fault finding.
- Reasonable time doing electrical maintenance on onsite Demag cranes – working from heights involved.
- On‑call and some overtime required.
- Multi‑skilled Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer or Electrical Engineer, Electrical Fitter, electro‑mechanical engineer, Plant Engineer (electrical) or Industrial Electrician.
- Experience carrying out PPM and implementing maintenance systems and checks.
- Used to working in heavy industrial environments manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aerospace, rail or dock cranes.

- £45,000 – £50,000 to £45k for days.
