This role involves maintaining plant equipment and fixing mechanical and electrical issues sitewide, with a focus on control and automation skills, as well as mechanical expertise.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and fixing automation, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Escalating maintenance issues as necessary
• Reporting and recording maintenance work
• Providing technical support and training
• Driving continuous improvement in reactive maintenance
• Undertaking preventative maintenance activities
• Monitoring energy consumption
• Conducting risk assessments and safety procedures
• Supporting electrical and controls projects, including PLC/HMI programming

What we are looking for:

• Experience diagnosing and repairing automation, electrical, and mechanical issues in an FMCG environment
• Results-oriented, able to prioritize workload and work well with others
• HNC in electrical/automation or multiskilled engineering is desirable, supported by relevant experience
