A healthcare trust in Melton Mowbray is looking for a motivated Ward Clerk to support a busy multi-disciplinary team. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing excellent service and administrative support. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills, and the role requires 15 hours a week across two days. Benefits include free parking and opportunities for flexible working. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Ward Clerk at Melton Community Hospital.
Ward Clerks are a vital part of our very busy inpatient multi-disciplinary teams. You will often be the first point of contact on the telephone or face to face for visitors, relatives and external clinicians so you will be responsible for providing an excellent first impression.
The ward provides sub-acute care, complex rehabilitation and palliative care. You will always be visible and a source of knowledge and support for staff to ensure the smooth running of the ward.
The post available is 15 hours per week which would be worked over two days. The rota covers 08.00-16.00 Monday to Sunday so your shifts would be between these times.
