We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established M&E contractor in Liverpool, known for their long-term clients, grounded culture, and solid pipeline of commercial, education, and healthcare projects.

Electrical Project Manager

£60,000 – £70,000 + bonus & benefits

Permanent, Full-time

Our client has been delivering M&E services across the North-West for over four decades. With a strong client base, a loyal team, and a focus on quality over flash, they’re the kind of company people stay with. Projects range from complex refurbishments to major new-build schemes. The team blends technical depth with practical experience, and there’s a real sense of ownership in how things are run.

• Managing electrical packages from initial design reviews through to site delivery and commissioning.

It’s a varied role that will keep you close to the technical details and out on-site, making things happen. Expect to:

• Plan and manage electrical installation works across key projects
• Oversee subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers
• Liaise with design consultants and client-side representatives
• Track programme milestones, budgets, and technical delivery
• Monitor health and safety and ensure compliance on site
• Lead site meetings and internal coordination reviews
• Work alongside the mechanical PM to deliver integrated solutions

You’ll need to juggle a few moving parts, but you’ll be supported by an experienced back office and delivery team who know how to get the job done.

• Proven experience managing electrical projects in the M&E sector
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installations
• Background in delivering projects across sectors like healthcare, education, and commercial
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead confidently on site
• Relevant electrical qualifications or engineering certifications
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the region
