We’re looking for a Senior Digital Product Engineer to oversee the technical delivery of Formula E’s digital platforms, including the website and mobile apps. This role is the key link between the technology and marketing teams, owning the technical execution and delivery to ensure our platforms are high-performing, scalable, and technically sound. The key deliverables are:

• Technical Platform Management: Responsible for the technical management, development, and integrity of Formula E’s website and mobile apps. This involves overseeing the end-to-end technical infrastructure, including the Content Management System (CMS), databases, and cloud services, to ensure the platforms are robust, reliable, and provide a seamless user experience.
• Stakeholder and Supplier Management: Serve as the main technical point of contact for external development agencies and vendors. You’ll manage these relationships, overseeing project timelines and deliverables to ensure all third-party contributions meet our technical standards and strategic goals.
• Integrations and Optimisation: Oversee the integration of third-party systems and APIs for seamless data flow. You will also work with marketing to implement technical SEO best practices and manage the infrastructure for localised content and AI-powered search.

• Strategic Digital Optimisation: The ideal candidate has knowledge of technical SEO principles, including geo-targeting and localised content. Experience in optimising platforms for AI-driven search is also important for increasing digital visibility.
• Vendor and Project Management: You must be able to manage relationships with external development agencies and vendors. This includes overseeing project timelines and deliverables to ensure they align with technical standards and strategic goals.
• Technical Acumen: This role requires a strong understanding of web and mobile technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs. Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and managing back-end systems is also essential.

This is a hybrid role and you’ll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith London office
