Job description

In this role as the Learning Technology Manager, you'll be accountable for leading the strategic direction, implementation, and optimisation of Tesco’s digital learning infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in enabling future skills development, enhancing the colleague learning experience, and driving innovation across the learning ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing a digital learning strategy aligned with Tesco’s goals and future capability needs. Act as a thought leader, championing innovation and sharing insights to inspire new approaches across the organisation.
  • Overseeing the management and optimisation of digital learning platforms (e.g. LMS, LXP), ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and effective. Lead digital learning projects from concept to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with IT, Marketing, and other departments to ensure successful integration and adoption.
  • Designing and embedding skills frameworks that support talent management, recruitment, performance, and career development. Integrate skills data into learning platforms to enable personalised, role-based learning experiences.
  • Establishing and promoting a strong, inclusive learning brand aligned with Tesco’s values. Drive engagement through strategic campaigns and ensure brand consistency across platforms and learning touchpoints.
  • Utilising learning analytics to measure engagement, outcomes, and effectiveness. Provide actionable insights to inform continuous improvement and demonstrate the impact of digital learning initiatives.
