A leading support service organization in Hull and East Yorkshire is seeking a Deputy Service Manager for their Supported Living Services. This role involves helping staff provide care for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Key responsibilities include recruitment, training, and supervision of staff, as well as ensuring compliant service delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in supported living or residential services. A salary of £25,600 annually is offered based on a 37.5-hour workweek.
Qualifications
Desire to progress into a managerial role.
Experience in a Supported Living or Residential service preferred.
Experience with adults with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health conditions is preferable.
Responsabilités
Assist in recruitment and training of new staff.
Provide structured supervision to staff team.
Lead staff meetings and ensure professional conduct.
Respond to conduct issues fairly and consistently.
Monitor attendance and manage leave requests.
Ensure compliance with service users' commissioned hours.
