ICT Technician
Permanent, Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, with out-of-hours on-call flexibility as required.
The role: The IT Technician will assist in operating the IT Service Desk by identifying, resolving, and documenting issues. You will provide friendly user support for students and staff, including first and second line support for IT hardware, software, and network issues, and prepare devices for new users.
The skills: This role suits someone eager to work in a unique environment different from a typical large office. You should have experience in a similar role, with strong helpdesk skills and excellent customer relationship abilities. You will enjoy problem-solving and striving for continuous improvement within the department. The environment: Harrow School is located on a beautiful 324-acre historic estate in Harrow on the Hill, northwest London. With around 835 boys, the school supports thousands of users including pupils, teachers, parents, governors, and staff from associated organizations. Our IT department manages an extensive fibre optic network connecting over a hundred buildings.
