A healthcare provider in the UK seeks an enthusiastic Ophthalmic Technician for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will cover various aspects of patient care in the Ophthalmology Outpatients department. Responsibilities include vision testing, supporting in an aseptic environment, and using imaging equipment. The role involves working 37.5 hours per week across four long days. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our supportive, dynamic, forward thinking team in Ophthalmology Outpatients.
The successful candidate will need to develop a range of skills to enable them to cover all aspects of the care we provide to our patients, this includes:
2.0 Full time equivalent Ophthalmic Technician on a 12‑month fixed term contract.
We are able to offer a comprehensive induction to ensure you are competent in undertaking the day to day tasks.
The hours available are 37.5 hours per week, 4 long days, the only stipulation is you will be required to work until 18:00 and 17:45 each day. You are expected to work at University Hospitals Dorset (Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and diagnostic hubs at Poole area).
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital and OAC St. Marys Hospital (Poole)
