It’s an exciting time to join Markel as our business grows, and we have a great new role for a Senior Claims Handler to join our Legal Expenses Claims team in either Croydon or Manchester on an initial 18‑month FTC. We can offer hybrid working, 3‑4 days in the office / 1‑2 days working from home and offer a great starting salary plus generous annual bonus along with a great benefits package.
The BTE Claims team deals with assessing and managing indemnity provided to policyholders for the purpose of pursuing/defending a range of legal actions, including employment, property and contractual disputes and fitness to practise investigations. The team is split into three specialist teams: Employment, Civil litigation and Criminal & Regulatory. The current vacancy is to sit within our Civil Litigation team.
