Order Fulfilment Shipping Clerk – Andover

Job Description

Stannah has an exciting opportunity for an Order Fulfilment Shipping Clerk to join the Order Fulfilment Department based at Stephenson Close. This permanent contract role involves controlling the transportation of products across the UK and globally, working closely with Order Fulfilment management teams to ensure logistics operations align with customer expectations. You will work Monday to Thursday 08.00–16.45 and Friday 08.00–13.00.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all logistics and shipping operations follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange transportation across road, sea, rail, and air.
  • Prepare accurate shipping documents and labels for UK and export consignments.
  • Obtain competitive quotes for single and multiple shipments from freight forwarders.
  • Resolve logistical issues that arise during loading or transit to minimise disruption.
Qualifications
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to interpret, analyse, and report shipping data accurately.
  • Effective written and verbal communication across internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience within shipping or transport environments with understanding of logistics processes.
  • Proactive approach to problem‑solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
