A leading insurance provider in the UK is looking for an Underwriting Portfolio Analyst to assist in launching new segments for home underwriting. The analyst will support the Portfolio Underwriting Manager and engage in rigorous data analysis to identify growth opportunities. Ideal candidates should be proficient in Python and SQL, possess strong analytical skills, and have knowledge of the insurance market. Perks include flexible working and a competitive bonus scheme.
The Underwriting Portfolio Analyst will work with the Portfolio Underwriting Manager with the aim of delivering our profit and growth targets for home, initially through launching in to three new segments of business; Contents only, buildings only and mid net worth and subsequently through the regular analysis of our existing risk appetite.
