This is a permanent, full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00.

1. Ensure priority tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
2. Label sample bottles, contact and settle plates.
3. Prepare acids.
4. Print DPD labels.
5. Print and verify manifests before dispatch.
6. Unpack orange boxes and log samples into AIS LIMS.
7. Ensure ice packs are available for orange boxes.
8. Mix, pack, and dispatch test soils.
9. Print test soil paperwork.
10. Maintain up-to-date relevant spreadsheets.
11. Track orange boxes in and out of stores.
12. Pack orange boxes after initial checks against the manifest.
13. Maintain a clean and tidy workplace in the test soil room, packing/dispatch benches, and store areas, including rubbish removal, sweeping, and mopping.
14. Book received stock items.
15. Conduct stock takes and rotate stock.
16. Prepare PPE kits.
17. Check the suitability of orange boxes.
18. Clean and wipe down orange boxes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stores/dispatch role.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with IT systems, e.g., Microsoft Office.
