Aviation Logistics Planner: Streamline Aircraft Parts
Job summary
A leading low-cost airline in Luton is seeking a Planning & Logistics Specialist to ensure the efficient movement of aircraft materials. The role involves managing relationships with transport partners, implementing processes, and enhancing supply chain efficiencies. Candidates should have at least 5 years in freight forwarding, knowledge of customs, and strong communication skills. Benefits include bonuses, pension contributions, and generous leave allowances.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding and UK/EU transportation environments.
- Experience of dangerous goods in air, sea and road is a plus.
- Aviation/airline/aerospace logistics experience is advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage seamless movement of aircraft materials and parts across the network.
- Plan collections and deliveries efficiently, monitoring shipment status.
- Support customs and logistics in preparation of industry audits.
