Job Description

Teledyne Controls (part of Teledyne UK Ltd) is actively recruiting at our repair facility in Cumbernauld for a Controls Administrator.

Teledyne Controls has built its name on intelligent solutions that collect, manager and deliver aircraft data more efficiently and our innovative technology and collaborative customer relationships have revolutionised the way aircraft operators’ access, manager and utilise their data. Thus, helping to achieve higher goals in safety, performance, and efficiency.

We count over 300 airlines among our valued customers, including some of the world’s major carriers, supplying products to the major OEM’s such as Airbus and Boeing.

Essential duties & responsibilities
  • Liaising with the customer – responding to enquiries, providing information, quotations and progress reports as required. Responsible for maintaining a positive image of the Repair Station in the eyes of our customers.
  • Receiving and shipping Customer units for repair within the ERP system.
  • Communicating customers’ priorities to the Operations Manager and technicians.
  • Operation and Maintenance of Repair Station Database – computer records.
  • Soft stamp issue and control.
  • Carrying out Customs and Export control activities such as providing clearance instructions to couriers. Maintaining import/export spreadsheets. Issuing Export license’s when required, and ensuring all import/export entries are completed correctly.
  • Control, Storage and Archiving of all maintenance documents.
  • Carrying out Financial support – sending invoices, chase-up of outstanding debt with customers.
  • Liaising with couriers and Shipping/Receiving Department.

Experience and qualifications

Essential:

  • Secondary school education to Standard Grade. English, Computer Studies preferable but equivalents are acceptable.

Desirable:

  • Experience in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
  • Relevant office experience.
