Job summary

A busy freight forwarder in Greater London is seeking an experienced Import Clerk to manage air imports from start to finish. The successful candidate will handle customs entries, liaise with customers and airlines, and work on key accounts. A strong background in imports is essential. Job description

My client is a well established, busy freight forwarder looking for an experienced Import Clerk to join their expanding team!

Daily duties include:

• Handling air imports from start - finish
• Monitoring ETA's f incoming shipments
• Booking in shipments from pre-alerts working with the customer service team
• Completing pre-lodgements and T1's
• Creating ETSF records
• Handling key accounts
• Completing customs entries
• Quotations
• Arranging collections and deliveries
• Liaising with airlines

Working hours:

• 4 on 4 OFF DAYS 7.00am-19.00pm / 9.00am - 21.00pm
