A leading global professional services firm in Manchester is seeking an IT Category Lead to own the Technology category with a significant budget. You will report to the Global Procurement Director and engage with senior stakeholders to drive strategic IT projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive IT Category Management experience and be proficient in influencing high-level decision-makers. This role includes creating strategies for cost efficiency and supplier performance monitoring, providing a unique opportunity to join during a procurement transformation.

A brand new role working for a market leading, Global Law Firm which is one the largest, who are adding to the team an IT Category Manager to fully own the Technology category globally with a $120m spend. You will be reporting into the Global Procurement Director to take ownership of the IT category, supporting on large complex and strategic projects, whilst still looking for the best commercial value. A hugely exciting time to join the business in the midst of a procurement transformation where the team will continue to grow.
This role requires a candidate with extensive IT Category Management, who regularly manage CTO / CIO level stakeholders and have proven experience of doing this. Due to joining in the midst of a big transformation, with a technology focus you will need to be able to work at pace, multiple projects at once and manage your time whilst things can be slightly manic.
