About the Role

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team at Doubletree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel and Spa supporting the financial operations of the hotel.

Reporting to the Financial Controller youll play a key part in the finance function working alongside a other departments within the hotel.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in finance within a fast-paced people-focused hospitality business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Processing invoices in a timely manner
  • Update Procure Wizard system daily with revenue figures
  • Keep banking sheet up to date and send reports to HO as required
  • Daily cash collection and process
  • Checking hotel floats and reporting any discrepancies
  • Bank reconciliation alongside with HO
  • Processing petty cash and BACS payments
  • Daily upkeeping up AR accounts
  • Attending on weekly credit meetings and actioning outstanding points
  • Debt consolidation
  • Updating the P&L tracker
  • Dealing with accounts emails
  • Upkeeping of the accruals sheet
  • Preparing documents for stocktake
  • Any ad-hoc accounts duties
About You

  • Comfortable working with numbers and financial data.
  • Detail-Oriented taking pride in accuracy and able to spot when something doesnt look right
  • Communicative havimg the confidence working with different departments
