We are open to speaking with candidates who have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or Commercial role, particularly those who have managed complex major projects—ideally within a Tier 1 contractor environment or similar.

The Role

As Commercial Manager, you will oversee key opportunities through the full commercial and project lifecycle—from pre-contract and tendering through to delivery, billing, and final account. You will play a critical role in ensuring commercial success, developing strong client relationships, and identifying opportunities for future business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams to ensure quality, compliance and service excellence.
  • Produce accurate commercial reporting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Review and enhance operational and commercial processes for continuous improvement.
  • Lead client engagement, building long-term relationships and supporting revenue growth.
  • Support bid preparation, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.
  • Manage commercial risk, compliance, and tender documentation.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to wider commercial strategy.
About You
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or Commercial role.
  • Experience managing high-value construction or passive fire protection projects (Major Projects / Tier 1 contractor exposure highly desirable).
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financially astute with strong reporting and analytical capability.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Relationship-driven approach with a commitment to client excellence.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial decision-making ability.
What's on Offer
  • Up to £65,000 salary (depending on experience)
  • Opportunity to lead major, high-profile passive fire projects
  • Strong development and progression pathway
  • Collaborative team culture and growing business environment
  • Chance to influence commercial strategy and business expansion
