Senior Project Engineer (MEP) - Leading Engineering Contractor - Berks/NW London - up to £85,000 + package

Our client is one of the UK's leading Engineering & Services companies with a turnover approaching £450 million. They are currently seeking an experienced MEP Senior Project Engineer (Mech or Elec bias) to join their London/Southern team and help deliver projects across their infrastructure / rail division.

This particular scheme is part of HS2 and our client is looking after circa £11 million of electrical power upgrade lots, so any rail project experience is beneficial.

In short, you'd be:
  • Taking ownership of the electrical or mechanical packages on a major rail / infrastructure project.
  • Leading on H&S and ensuring a genuine “safety first” culture on site.
  • Working closely with pre‑contract and delivery teams to de‑risk and optimise the project.
  • Managing risk, compliance, and client relationships, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Re‑engineering and value‑engineering installations to meet client needs while protecting margins.
  • Providing accurate progress and financial updates and ensuring smooth project close‑out.
