- Oversee and maintain adherence to health and safety regulations, ISO 45001 standards and legal requirements.
- Work with our London & Newcastle office and 30 regional branches to lead on health & safety and optimise costs across the business.
- Strengthen risk management processes and ensure ongoing compliance across all operations.
- Lead and deliver training programs to engage employees and improve health and safety awareness.
- Oversee management systems, ensure ISO and ZeroVision compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and experience integrating these frameworks into business processes.
- Background in health and safety management within a complex operational environment.
- Proficient in risk assessment methodologies and best practices.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred, or willingness to work towards qualification.
- Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH, Grad IOSH, or CMIOSH) or actively working towards Certified ISO Auditor, or willingness to achieve certification.
- Certified Fire Risk Assessor qualification is a plus.
- Understanding of Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulations.
- Experience with integrated management systems for compliance tracking.
- Familiarity with the ZeroVision safety framework is an advantage.
- Experience working with a business that handles explosives would be an advantage.
