My client is a leading M&E Contractor who is currently recruiting a Mechanical Manager to oversee a large commercial scheme based in Derby. This is a major project offering a long‑term opportunity with a well‑established contractor.
- Reporting to and working closely with the Project Manager.
- Managing all mechanical packages across the commercial development.
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme and specification.
- Working collaboratively with design teams, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Overseeing quality control, ensuring all mechanical works meet compliance and industry standards.
- Leading progress meetings and producing regular project updates.
- Ensuring a strong focus on health & safety across all phases of the mechanical installation.
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial or M&E projects.
- Strong mechanical building services background.
- Ability to manage subcontractors, programmes, and technical delivery.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- CSCS card and relevant mechanical qualifications.
